Interview prep for Agile roles
Behavioral interviews reward a clear structure and a number in the result. STAR-I closes with Impact: what changed for the business, the team or the stakeholders because of what you did. That is what makes you sound senior.

STAR-I AI-Era Story Pack

FREE SAMPLE STORY: Conflict with a Product Owner
Situation: Two sprints from a committed launch, my Product Owner kept pulling new "must-have" stories into the sprint mid-flight. The team was thrashing and trust between engineering and product was fraying.
Task: As Scrum Master, I owned protecting the team's ability to deliver the committed scope, without damaging a working relationship I'd need for the next year.
Action: I pulled the flow data (cycle time had jumped 40% since the mid-sprint changes started) and met the PO one on one. I showed numbers, not opinions, and we agreed a rule: new scope goes to the top of next sprint's backlog, not into the current one.
Result: Mid-sprint insertions dropped to near zero, cycle time recovered within one sprint, and we hit the launch date.
Impact: The PO started using the same board view to push back on her own stakeholders, and the working relationship came out stronger than before the friction.
Metrics that hiring managers ask about

What free tools help Scrum Masters write a better resume?
The Agile Resume Metrics Library gives 110+ before and after rewrites. The free ATS audit shows which bullets get filtered out.
